NinaB Designs Blog Hop: Make it Masculine
Welcome to the NinaB Designs Blog Hop! The theme of this month's hop is Make it Masculine. Father's day is just around the corner. It's a great opportunity to honor those men who mean so much to us.
I decided to create a clean and simple card, a style that I always turn to when making masculine cards! Manly colors, a meaningful sentiment... a perfect combo in my book!
I also used some paper scraps to create a sentiment on the inside of the card:

NinaB Designs April 2013 Blog Hop - comment to win!!
Welcome to the NinaB Designs Blog Hop! The theme of this month's hop is Stamping Techniques. Nina challenged the team to do a technique, which could be as simple as coloring, die-cutting or more involved like emboss resist, making your own embellishments, etc.
I chose to use the following products, designed by Nina:
And here is my card:
I love how this one turned out! In addition to Nina's products, I used papers from Crate Paper's DIY collection, kraft paper, a bit of dyed seam binding, and chalk ink for a bit of 'edge enhancing'.
I just love matching dies/stamp sets! I die cut the thread spool, pin cushion and the buttons to make my own embellishments for the card.
And the stitched sentiment.... love! I'm thinking I will save this card to give this card to my mom for her birthday, she is an avid quilter and I think she would enjoy receiving a card like this!
