Happy Valentine's Day!

I jumped on the Target $spot mailbox bandwagon, and tried my hand at altering the little mailboxes to house my kids Valentine's treats this year. I wanted to keep the papers somewhat 'neutral' so that I could reuse the mailboxes throughout the year, whenever I want to sneak my kids a love note.

Altered mailboxes

Tucked these simple little love notes inside of their mailboxes~

Another Target $spot 'investment' that I had made a while back were these take out containers... perfect for holding some Hershey's kisses as a Valentine treat for the kids' teachers.

Wishing you a 'love'ly day!

Love the mailboxes - I never was able to find them at any Target's around here. They are so cute. I bet your kids will be checking them often for your love notes!

Hi Rae, those are so cute! I used the teal/red paper for Seth's box too. My Target was out of the mailboxes so Seth chose a heart shaped paper mache box from HL. But, can you believe I forgot to take a pic before I sent it to school?! Hopefully it'll still be in photographic condition when it returns today. Great projects! Katie

Adorable....love the paper u used for these--just too cute. I love the idea about keeping them out all year to send you child a love note. So sweet!
I love those to go containers too---picked a couple of those up in the summer---love how easy and fast they make a cute gift.

Hi Rae,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and the nice comments, really means so much to me! I really love these little mailboxes and take out boxes! I felt so bad that I didn't do anything special for the teachers this year. Ran out of time. :(
Hope you are having a great day,
Dani
