Paper Crafts Card Creations Volume 11 blog hop

Hey there!!
Sooooo excited to be a part of Paper Crafts Card Creations Volume 11 blog hop, and soooooo happy that you are here visiting!!

For this blog hop, the designers were asked to create a card using one of the downloadable sentiments from this issue, which you can access HERE.

I chose to work with this 'thank you' sentiment

and here is what I created:

Supplies: Cardstock (kraft) Paper Studio Patterned Paper: (from Honey Line, The Sweetest Thing collection) My Mind's Eye Accents: (Pearls, silk flowers) Michael's Fiber: (Hemp cord) Cousin Corporation Hybrid Ink: (Hibiscus burst) Papertrey Ink Die: (Die-namics Vertical Greetings II) My Favorite Things Tool: (Cuttlebug) ProvoCraft Other: (foam tape)

I love using computer generated sentiments! If you are unsure how to print a sentiment on patterned paper, here is a quickie lesson on how I printed mine:
First, print your sentiment on plain computer paper. Next, take your patterned paper piece and place it over the printed sentiment on the computer paper (I use a lamp/light and the shadow it creates to determine where I will be taping my patterned paper). Tape the patterned paper in place, paying special attention to the top of the patterned paper ensuring that it is secure so it won't get jammed in your printer. Finally, simply print the sentiment again, trim it up, and use it on your project! I chose to use a die to trim the printed sentiment.

Now, you know that a hop isn't a hop without a *PRIZE*!!!

How about a chance to win your own copy of Card Creations Volume 11?!
Looks like another FABULOUS special issue, I can't wait to see it myself, I have four cards published in this one!!

For a chance to win, please leave a comment below. The deadline for submitting comments is Tuesday, March 12th.
And while you are here, I would *LOVE* to have you FOLLOW my blog.... especially since I have a some EXCITING NEWS to share today, and will be sharing many new projects here in the near future!!

I was stumped on how to best use this image, especially I haven't done any digital cardmaking. Seeing the sentiments "in action" is so helpful. When I saw this image, I liked it, but thought it looked a bit chopped off. You proved me wrong and used it perfectly.
